Behind the scenes: This canvas was used as a palate while working on several other paintings. That’s where the underlying texture comes from! Other bits of texture come from using recycled bits of dried paint that I save like some kind of deranged raccoon for future use. I’ve justified the habit! I’ve turned it into art!
